LANCEMENT "STACCATO" - MAËVA BENAICHE

Nous vous accueillons ce samedi 3 Juin autour d'un petit goûter à partir de 16h pour le lancement du premier livre de Maëva Benaiche : Staccato. 

Staccato est un cri du cœur, un témoignage en suspens sur le point d’imploser. Et cette déflagration, c’est celle de Maëva Benaiche. Photographe et bègue, elle navigue entre les mots cherchant à trouver sa place dans ce monde de la parole. Elle donne à voir, à entendre, à sentir son expérience de vie ballottée par son trouble du langage. Dans ses interactions, son expression est inhibée par le regard de l’autre, par ses souvenirs qui l’assaillent, par ses propres doutes. Sa parole peine à suivre la course effrénée de sa pensée. Et elle s’épuise à faire tomber les barrières du langage.

We welcome you this Saturday, June 3rd around a small snack from 4pm for the launch of Maëva Benaiche's first book: "Staccato". 

"Staccato" is a cry from the heart, a testimony on the verge of imploding. And this explosion is that of Maëva Benaiche. Photographer and stutterer, she navigates between the words trying to find her place in this world of words. She gives to see, to hear, to feel her experience of life tossed about by her language disorder. In her interactions, her expression is inhibited by the gaze of the other, by her memories which assail her, by her own doubts. Her speech struggles to keep up with the frantic pace of her thinking. And she is exhausted in breaking down the barriers of language.
