For his first book, photographer Aliocha Boi went on an expedition to the North Pole on a scientific boat. The colorful images of this region where the sun never sets were laid out by Bastien Forato , founder of the publishing house Collapse Books . We are delighted to welcome both of them for a discussion about this ambitious project! Prints from the "Midnight Sun" series will be exceptionally on display in the bookstore area and will be available for sale!
Aliocha Boi is a Paris-based photographer. He is driven by color, details (textures, materials, and gestures), and the interaction between humans and their environment. He is also the founder of Podcast Vision(s).
Bastien Forato is a French art director, graphic designer, and publisher based in Paris. In 2024, he founded Collapse Books, an independent publishing house dedicated to contemporary art and photography.
