Born in Osaka in 1938, Daido Moriyama started out as a photographer’s assistant before going freelance in 1964. Since then, he has developed his unique style of shooting high-contrast images—often grainy, out-of-focus, or blurred—that has had a significant impact on the international photography world today. This signed, limited edition features a collection of Moriyama’s images, primarily featuring the stray cats he encountered on the streets of the cities he still roams, day and night. The title is a direct reference to one of his most famous images—which has even become a way of calling Daido and his photography—“Stray Dog.”
