Romain Laprade is a French photographer. After graduating, he first worked at Vogue Paris magazine as a graphic designer and then at Holiday magazine, but his passion for photography, which he has been working on since the age of 15, ultimately led him to make it his career.
In just a few years, Romain Laprade's photographs have become a subtle and intriguing visual signature. His style is distinguished by its focus on mundane details, which he transforms into iconic images.
Her warm tones, her sense of composition and her sunny work also interest brands in constant search of novelties and help her to make themselves known thanks to various publications. (Aesop, Rimowa, Mr Porter, Hermès, Isabel Marant,...).
Romain Laprade freezes lines and surfaces through his own aesthetic and photographic vocabulary, often drawn from modernist architecture. Insignificant details, minimalist compositions, and pronounced lighting are featured in numerous photographs collected over the past five years, capable of providing an exquisite and poetic view of the world.
