This beautiful book brings together two major Japanese photographers: INOUE SEIRYU and KOJIMA ICHIRO.
While the photographs of Seiryu Inoue (1931-1988) mainly document the streets of Kamagasaki, the working-class city of Osaka at the end of the 1950s; Kojima Ichiro (1924-1964) transports us to landscapes and villages of the Peninsula of Tsugaru (North of Japan) during the post-war years. Two precious glances on a Japan which has now disappeared.

Ce beau livre est un regard croisé entre deux grandes figures de la photographie japonaise : INOUE SEIRYU et KOJIMA ICHIRO.
Tandis que les photographies de Seiryu Inoue (1931-1988) documentent essentiellement les rues de Kamagasaki ville ouvrière d’Osaka à la fin des années 50, Kojima Ichiro (1924-1964) nous transporte lui dans les paysages et les villages de la Péninsule de Tsugaru (Nord du Japon) durant l’après-guerre.
