Grégoire Eloy: Sciences of matter and climate
Ossoue is a photographic proposal on glaciology and the related sciences of snow and water at altitude. For this project, the photographer is associated with Simon Gascoin and Etienne Berthier CNRS researchers and Pierre René, glaciologist, mountain guide, from the Pyrenean Moraine Association.

Myriem Karim: Geographical and environmental sciences
L'Empreinte des Millénaires, is a tour of the Cirque de Gavarnie in the footsteps of Franz Schrader (1844-1924), creator of the orograph, a tool for drawing relief. Starting from this invention, she will study the relationship between topographical knowledge of a territory and visual perception of the space offered by photography. The subjective impression of the landscape will cross the scientific experience by summoning: topography and geology.

Laure Winants: Meteorological and Climate Sciences
During her residency, she wishes to push the limits of her research on the movement of matter by questioning the traces of climate change. It is a question of bringing together in a set of compounds, the graphic models of the measuring devices, the photographic shots of the natural phenomena studied and to put them in parallel with the data of the measuring instruments.

1+2 RHIZOME is a box set published every year by Filigrane editions and which brings together the works of the three annual artists of the 1+2 Toulouse Residence. In 2021, the residence welcomed the artists GREGOIRE ELOY, MYRIEM KARIM and LAURE WINANTS. The box set is composed of a blue case and three books, each dedicated to the individual works of the artists during their stay at 1+2 TOULOUSE.
