This book is published at the end of a research and experimental residency
led by Mustapha Azeroual at the Mougins Photography Center,
an institution committed to supporting creation and experimentation
photographs, and the exhibition “Mustapha Azeroual: Sillage” at the Espace
Concrete Art in Mouans-Sartoux (March 8 - August 31, 2025)
It is an opportunity to explain and illustrate the artist's approach by sweeping
the productions of recent years of the recent winner of the prestigious
Swiss Life prize.

Mustapha Azeroual is a French-Moroccan artist (1979), who explores photography
at the crossroads of art and science. His work questions light,
time and perception through experimental photographic processes.
It fuses ancient techniques and contemporary innovations to
create immersive and sensory works. His research places him at the
heart of a reflection on the image and its materiality.
