Sakiko Nomura's photo book "Moonlight" captivates readers with its large format (420 × 297 ㎜) and sensual, intimate photographs. Nomura has visited Taiwan several times before, but this was her first time shooting a series in the island nation. To capture her sense of intimacy and emotion in the images, Nomura commissioned her models to conduct individual sessions in the privacy of their own homes. The results are bittersweet and erotic images, created through a masterful use of the interplay between light and shadow.
